Signpost & mountain landscape from Precipice Walk, near Dolgellau. A glorious early December morning and an easy local walk that I highly recommend if you’re in the area.
Above Capel Curig – The nightly frost begins to thaw in morning’s golden sunlight. Meantime, mists meander across Llynnau Mymbyr and the Snowdon Horseshoe stands tipped with snow.
Misty Morning Crossing – Morning mists & sunshine make for a dreamy view of the Dyfi footbridge near Machynlleth.
The warm light of late autumn sun and the twisting track ahead – hugged by the friendly forest trees. A pleasant course for an autumn wander.
Autumn & Winter mingle together in Dyfi Forest. Warm forest hues & frozen mountain snow.
Pistyll Rhaeadr – Emerging from the wooded banks of the ravine you spot.. a magical multi-stage waterfall of some 240 ft that plunges beneath a natural rock arch.
Stwlan Dam on the upper slopes of snow capped Moelwyn Mawr. (providing 360 MW of Hydro power)
Pistyll Cain – picturesque falls within Coed y Brenin. The river cascades down rocky steps within the woodland in a scenic ravine (Snowdonia).
Mainland Sunrise – The sun gradually rises into a tangerine sky above the mountains of Snowdonia. In the foreground stands the beacon tower of Ynys Llanddwyn.
